Project Highlights:
O’Brien & Gere made substantial improvements to the two facilities, including:
- Process ductwork modifications
- Extraction vent header upgrades
- Site-wide vent header system upgrades
- New scrubber installations
The new wastewater treatment plant features:
- Maximum daily flow – 600,000 gpd (0.6 MGD)
- Partitioning of existing 680,000 gal tanks to create two flow equalization tanks (300,00 gal each) and two sequencing batch reactor tanks (380,000 gal each)
- Air stripper for MACT water
- New sludge holding tank and belt filter press
- New post-SBR equalization tank
- Aeration mixing
- Odor control scrubber
