Project Highlights:
- Pilot testing and basis of design development for the installation of a new MBBR system identified problems of additional operational complexity, potential odor considerations, and elevated implementation costs
- Removed biofilters from service by expanding the conventional activated sludge system at the WWTP
- Relocated the existing 69 kV power line that currently transects the WWP site and installed a new double-ended electrical substation Demolished primary clarifier as necessary to accommodate the footprint of the new activated sludge reactors
