Tasks:    

  • Demolition of existing water tank, standpipe, roadway, and fencing
  • Removal of fuel oil tanks and related equipment
  • Relocation of electrical utilities, well and potable water lines, and fire protection system
  • Installation of communication connections and data circuits
  • Establishment of new underground utilities
  • Installation of temporary fire main cross connections
  • Soil management and disposal  

Project Highlights:  
  • Increased the utilization of existing aquifer capacity
  • Improved delivery pressure throughout the distribution system
  • Provided water in quantities and pressures necessary to support projected growth
  • Reduced site vulnerability issues caused by temporary loss of water supply from the Water Authority
  • Installed over 21,000 If of pipeline, a 6 MG ground level water storage tank, a 2 MG elevated water storage tank, and a new pumping station
  • Connected new facility to existing water supply and distribution systems
  • Installed new chlorination system
  • Provided connection to plant water corrosion control system
  • Upgraded computerized control network
