Richard Cawley serves as Vice President of Business Development for our Environmental Solutions Group. With 21 years of experience with a wide variety of environmental engineering projects, Mr. Cawley has acquired a significant base of knowledge in the areas of geologic and hydrogeologic research and investigation, site assessments, remediation of industrial facilities, hazardous waste sites, underground storage tank programs, industrial facility decommissioning and demolition. Mr. Cawley’s high level of skill in his areas of expertise is demonstrated by his status as a Certified Professional Geologist, Professional Geologist, and New Jersey Subsurface Evaluator. Working across all industry sectors as a business development leader, Mr. Cawley delivers innovative and cost-effective environmental solutions to his clients.

Mr. Rest has extensive experience in water-related projects, with particular expertise in water pumping station upgrades, water treatment/water quality, master planning, hydraulics/pumping, water source and supply, and water distribution/transmission/storage. As Vice President of our Municipal and State Program for Total Water Solutions, Peter Gibbons is responsible for our municipal and state client sectors. Mr. Gibbons has over 36 years of professional experience in the areas of municipal, civil, and sanitary engineering programs. He is responsible for the firm’s marketing, business development, and customer service to municipal and state clients throughout the country. Mr. Gibbon’s areas of expertise include water transmission, distribution, and treatment; wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment; and storm water management and design. With his thorough understanding of issues inherent to municipal and state projects, he has helped numerous clients meet their goals by incorporating cost-effective technologies and innovations.

Lee Davis serves as Executive Vice President of O'Brien & Gere's Higher Education & Healthcare Program. Mr. Davis has more than 26 years of professional experience serving the higher education and healthcare markets, and has considerable expertise in providing environmental assessments, modeling, right-to-build, and permitting services for capital projects involving research laboratories, central heating plants, incinerators, and related facilities. Mr. Davis has worked on a number of large-scale projects for the higher education and healthcare industries, some of which have required detailed modeling, human health risk assessment, life-cycle analysis, and environmental control systems. Mr. Davis has also, in the past, committed his time to the Advisory Board for the College of Engineering and Computer Science at S.U., the SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry Foundation, the Applied Research & Extension Program at the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University, and Crouse Hospital.

Mr. Spiegel has applied his expertise in environmental compliance and permitting, environmental audits, environmental assessments, property acquisitions, and sustainability to a wide variety of projects at some of the largest and most renowned colleges and universities in the country. Mr. Spiegel is an expert on state and regulatory issues, and has been involved in the development of EHS regulatory strategies since the 1970s. With 32 years of professional work experience, Mr. Spiegel has the knowledge and technical proficiency to provide higher education and healthcare clients with a broad range of creative and economical services, spanning our three business units: Total Environmental, Total Water, and Capital & Facilities.

Peter Grevelding currently serves as Senior Vice President of O'Brien & Gere's Developers & Professional Services Program. Mr. Grevelding has 33 years and two billion dollars’ worth of land development experience, with special expertise in the areas of land planning and development/redevelopment, sewerage and storm water management, water resources, and telecommunications facilities. Throughout his lengthy career, Mr. Grevelding has been responsible for supervising many land development projects involving planning, permitting, siting and design, feasibility studies, traffic studies, regulatory approvals, zone change proceedings, environmental analysis, and right-to-build issues. Mr. Grevelding has also worked on various commercial developments, including regional shopping malls, small and large product retail venues, and office and commercial parks. Under Mr. Grevelding’s direction, O’Brien & Gere has become an active leader in brownfields redevelopment, telecommunications, cogeneration, recycling facilities, and other areas of particular importance in today’s world.
