Tasks:
- Caretaker for 800 acre closed manufacturing facility
- Monitoring sampling and reporting for constructed wetlands
- Irrigation of Phyto Plots
- Mowing and general site maintenance
Project Highlights:
- Identify, quantify, and report cost savings ideas related to site activities including site remediation, dismantling, and administration
- Reviewed and approved vendors and subcontractors invoices
- Prepared regulatory submittals for review by the BASF Project Manager
- Manage site subcontractors, and monitored individual project budgets
- Manage the BASF storm water permit including sampling, reporting, and yearly inspection reports.
- Manage the BASF HRSD Pretreatment permit including sampling, reporting, and applications
- Monitor site safety, and security and provide Health & Safety Orientation for site personnel and subcontractors
- Inspect, maintain, and operate systems at the facility including the Fire Suppression System, Ground Water Pumps and Supply System, Irrigation System, BASF Pump Station and Constructed Wetlands Treatment System
- Manage site subcontractors (unless management is separately subcontracted by BASF), and provide on site coordination for site activities and lease tenants
- Provide supplemental irrigation to newly established grass caps on an as needed basis
