Budget:
$150,000/yr.


Tasks:  
  • Caretaker for 800 acre closed manufacturing facility
  • Monitoring sampling and reporting for constructed wetlands
  • Irrigation of Phyto Plots
  • Mowing and general site maintenance  

Project Highlights:  
  • Identify, quantify, and report cost savings ideas related to site activities including site remediation, dismantling, and administration
  • Reviewed and approved vendors and subcontractors invoices
  • Prepared regulatory submittals for review by the BASF Project Manager
  • Manage site subcontractors, and monitored individual project budgets
  • Manage the BASF storm water permit including sampling, reporting, and yearly inspection reports.
  • Manage the BASF HRSD Pretreatment permit including sampling, reporting, and applications
  • Monitor site safety, and security and provide Health & Safety Orientation for site personnel and subcontractors
  • Inspect, maintain, and operate systems at the facility including the Fire Suppression System, Ground Water Pumps and Supply System, Irrigation System, BASF Pump Station and Constructed Wetlands Treatment System
  • Manage site subcontractors (unless management is separately subcontracted by BASF), and provide on site coordination for site activities and lease tenants
  • Provide supplemental irrigation to newly established grass caps on an as needed basis
