Tasks:  
  • Routine Operations & Maintenance inspections 
  • Provide emergency response and repairs 
  • Electrical/mechanical inspections, maintenance and upgrades  

Project Highlights:  
  • Mechanical operation inspection includes: 
    • Verification of proper operation of all gates 
    • Cleaning and maintenance of bar screens 
    • Verification of proper operation of storm water pumps, piping and valves 
    • Equipment lubrication and repairs (as required) 
  • Electrical inspection program includes: 
    • Preventative maintenance on switchgears and drives 
    • Testing of all electrical components. This contract was expanded to include correction of design deficiencies, and electrical services upgrades where, as equipment fails, it is upgraded to current technology levels. 
  • Other services included: 
    • Electrical system coordination studies for three pump stations for the selection of long and short time upgrades 
    • Ground fault trip settings for the main and pump feeder circuit breakers 
    • Preliminary design for the installation of generators in soundproof enclosures to meet the environmental (noise level reduction) criteria. 
  • Additional efforts included: 
    • Supervision of subcontractors 
    • Scheduling of inspections 
    • Generation of reports
