- Routine Operations & Maintenance inspections
- Provide emergency response and repairs
- Electrical/mechanical inspections, maintenance and upgrades
Project Highlights:
- Mechanical operation inspection includes:
- Verification of proper operation of all gates
- Cleaning and maintenance of bar screens
- Verification of proper operation of storm water pumps, piping and valves
- Equipment lubrication and repairs (as required)
- Electrical inspection program includes:
- Preventative maintenance on switchgears and drives
- Testing of all electrical components. This contract was expanded to include correction of design deficiencies, and electrical services upgrades where, as equipment fails, it is upgraded to current technology levels.
- Other services included:
- Electrical system coordination studies for three pump stations for the selection of long and short time upgrades
- Ground fault trip settings for the main and pump feeder circuit breakers
- Preliminary design for the installation of generators in soundproof enclosures to meet the environmental (noise level reduction) criteria.
- Additional efforts included:
- Supervision of subcontractors
- Scheduling of inspections
- Generation of reports
