O&M of Manufacturing Plant Ground Water Collection and Treatment System Confidential Client, Flint, Michigan Services: Operation & Maintenance        Schedule: 4 years Budget: $535,000 Tasks:     Operations & Maintenance of ground water collection and treatment system  Routine inspections  Response to system malfunctions   Project Highlights:   Project objectives include maintenance of the GCTS’s operational efficiency as the system flow rates are increased through the addition of new collection points, and reduce the per-gallon cost of treating collected ground water.  A SCADA monitoring system was added and is continually updated to improve data collection and management capabilities and the incorporation of additional monitoring points.  Weekly tasks included inspections, equipment maintenance checks and the collection of water samples from the treatment system effluent sampling point for PCB analysis.  NPDES Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR)s are prepared on a monthly basis
