Another long-standing pharmaceutical client hired O'Brien & Gere to fit-out a new vaccine facility. New media preparation, fermentation and filtration equipment was housed in a new facility containing the necessary architectural, HVAC and utility support systems to ensure cGMP compliance. The project goal was to provide bulk manufacturing capacity for the vaccine. O’Brien & Gere provided that functional fit-out of this facility, on a design-build, fixed price, lump sum basis, with a contract value of approximately $3.9 million. Services provided by O’Brien & Gere included design, procurement, construction, and commissioning and validation.
