Project Highlights:
- Fast-track design-build of a wastewater treatment facility for metals removal
- Provided removal of metals from high pH wastewater associated with a painting process line
- Coordinated compressed design schedule and budgets for a multi-discipline design team
- Developed P&IDs and process control strategies
- Designed influent flow EQ tankage, treatment reactors for pH control, and metals precipitation, a lamella clarifier, sand filtration system and final pH adjustment systems
- Designed an insulated metal process building and associated HVAC, fire protection, and communication systems
- Designed and constructed new PLC-based control system and touch screen panel to allow automatic operation and monitoring
- Designed exterior tank farm for EQ tanks, sludge storage tank, and water reuse tank
- Coordinated construction scheduling closely with decommissioning of the former facility in order to reuse selected equipment from the former facility in the new facility
- Seamless transition from the existing wastewater treatment system to the new system ahead of schedule.
