| RiverWright Energy, Buffalo, NY O’Brien & Gere has been retained to provide environmental permitting and associated State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) for a second ethanol plant to be located in New York State. This work is part of O’Brien & Gere’s renewable energy initiative, supporting the growth of biofuel and alternative energy projects nationwide. RiverWright Energy, a new, Buffalo-based alternative energy company, is transforming a grouping of former grain elevators into an $80 million ethanol plant expected to produce up to 110 million gallons of ethanol annually. Located on a 23-acre site in the city’s Old First Ward, RiverWright anticipates a fall 2007 production start.  |
