O’Brien & Gere is developing a greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory and Climate Action Plan (CAP) in support of James Madison University’s (JMU) participation in the American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment (ACUPCC). The effort follows O’Brien & Gere’s Sustainability IDEAS™ process and includes Defining long term goals for climate action, Evaluating JMU’s current and future projected climate impact, and Achieving carbon neutrality through the identification and prioritization of emission reduction projects. O’Brien & Gere is helping JMU to become a more sustainable institution with respect to operations, curriculum, and citizenship.
