Project Highlights:
- Obtained approximately 75 soil samples and installed and sampled 10 monitoring wells for the presence of contamination
- Analyzed chip samples in the field utilizing USEPA-approved immunoassay technique; approach resulted in significant time and cost-savings
- Delineation sampling approach resulted in reduction of costs for concrete removal and disposal
- During Phase I of this program, 7 buildings and storage areas were decommissioned, and 18 buildings and storage areas were demolished
- Performed aquifer characterization studies including in situ permeability testing of over 30 wells, screened at various depths, to evaluate conductivity variations
