O'Brien & Gere's Technology Group was formed to support technological and developmental initiatives within the environmental, water/wastewater/CSO, renewable/clean energy, and control systems fields. By taking advantage of the strong alliances O'Brien & Gere maintains with academic institutions, technology firms, and sources of capital, clients can expect to receive value-based effective solutions that address their individual project goals and objectives.

The mission of the Technology Group is to:

• Identify and evaluate current and emerging technologies in the marketplace
• Initiate and oversee research, development, and technology demonstrations
• Commercialize and integrate new technologies in client projects
• Publish results to the engineering and scientific community
• Mentor junior staff development along a technical track
• Lead O'Brien & Gere to the forefront of the consulting profession
