Project Highlights:  
  • Provide one full time Maryland Class 5 licensed operator to oversee the operation of the treatment plant. 
  • Performance of monthly treatment system sampling, monitoring, analysis, and reporting. 
  • Provide the equipment needed to collect treatment system samples. 
  • Package and ship the samples to the laboratory, coordinate the receipt of analytical data, and generate a monthly report 
  • Coordinate billing of utilities which includes electric, telephone, and general waste disposal. Sanitary disposal and non-potable wash water for the site office trailer. 
  • Disposal of non-hazardous treatment system sludge as currently characterized. 
  • Disposal of hazardous waste 
  • Purchase and arrange for delivery of chemicals required for treatment system operation. 
  • Maintaining records of the operation of the treatment plant in an onsite log book. 
  • Provide remote monitoring and emergency response to treatment system / security alarms. 
  • Update and maintain, as necessary, the Health and Safety Plan (HASP) for treatment plant operation. 
  • Update and maintain an O&M Manual for the treatment system. 
  • Implementation of our preventive maintenance system consisting of a maintenance schedule and records of all maintenance performed. 
  • Purchase and maintain an inventory of consumables required for site upkeep, operation and maintenance including lubricants, cleaning supplies, PPE, and bag filters. 
  • Inspections of health and safety equipment – fire extinguishers, safety shower, and eye wash stations. 
  • Landscaping of property grounds. 
  • Weekly collection of water elevations from selected monitoring wells. 
  • Collection and disposal of DNAPL. 
  • Provide assistance with remediation investigation projects, when appropriate. 
  • Storage and handling of spent carbon 
  • Maintenance and cleaning of office trailer for monthly regulatory status meetings. 
  • Review, maintenance and archiving of security cameras records.
