O’Brien & Gere was retained by the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority to provide supplemental construction management inspection, engineering, and safety services on a wide range of construction projects within the sewerage collection and water distribution systems of the District of Columbia. Work performed included future sewer system upgrades, infiltration/inflow sewer rehabilitation, sewer replacement, watermain replacement, watermain internal repairs (large diameter), lead service replacement, storm sewer extensions, wastewater flow reduction, interceptor odor control, and low impact development.
