O’Brien & Gere was retained to develop a water distribution network master plan for the island of Aruba in the Netherlands Antilles. The plan specified actions for maintaining and expanding Aruba’s potable water supply to meet projected demand in the next 15 years and beyond, if needed. To develop the plan, O’Brien & Gere conducted a facilities assessment that reviewed system configuration, identified location of components, and evaluated condition of systems. The options recommended to WEB included a cost estimate and a schedule for implementation. The project was completed under budget and on time.
