As a subcontractor on a design-build project, O’Brien & Gere provided architectural-engineering services for the design portion of two taxiway projects at McGuire AFB, and supervised the surveying and geotechnical contractors.

O’Brien & Gere was responsible for rehabilitation and upgrade services to help with the standardization of existing taxiway dimensions. Milling and resurfacing of existing taxiways, storm water management, and new taxiway design, edge lighting systems, signage, and markings were completed. In addition, O'Brien & Gere assisted with coordination for the points of connection and transitions to the adjacent runways, taxiways, and an ongoing construction project at Fort Dix.
