Emerging Contaminants Summit 2018

OBG recently sponsored, exhibited, and participated in the Emerging Contaminants Summit on March 6-7, 2018 in Westminster, Colorado.

This environmental conference addressed the investigation, assessment, and mitigation of emerging contaminants across all environmental media, including surface water, groundwater, drinking water, wastewater, recycled water, soils, and sediments, as well as the latest research in this field.

During the conference, OBG’s team of environmental and water experts exhibited two posters, one by Paul Hare, CPG, PG related to 1,4-dioxane and the other by George Rest, PE related to the treatment of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS) for a large drinking water source. OBG also unveiled two trivia challenges, one for 1,4-dioxane and the other for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). These and other new trivia challenges will be available following the upcoming Battelle Chlorinated Conference (April 9-12, 2018 in Palm Springs).
