FET Environment 2018 Conference & Exhibition
OBG recently took part in the Federation of Environmental Technologists, Inc. (FET) Environment 2018 Conference and Exhibition on October 23-25 in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. The annual conference brings together a diverse mix of industries, consultants, regulators, service providers, educators, and students to focus on educating and developing excellence in environmental professionals.
During the event, OBG experts discussed experiences and solutions in environmental health & safety, compliance, industrial wastewater, operations & maintenance, remediation, sediment management, and emerging contaminants, including PFAS, at the company's exhibit, as well as challenged attendees to OBG's environmental trivia challenge.
OBG's national compliance practice leader Matt Traister, PE, and a recognized air expert, gave the presentation Recent Regulatory Interpretations that Reduce the Complexity of Clean Air Act Obligations [PDF]. The presentation focuses on two subjects: the U.S. EPA's reversal of its “once in, always in” MACT policy and new emissions accounting interpretations under New Source Review (NSR).
