Dan Agramonte named American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Georgia Section PresidentOBG News,
OBG is pleased to announce that Dan Agramonte, PE has been named as the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Georgia Section President. As President for ASCE in Georgia, Dan will serve as leadership for several branches, including Savannah, Northeast Georgia, South Metro as well as five student chapters.
Dan, a 2017 Georgia Engineer of the Year, is an active member of the engineering community in a wide variety of areas. For the past eight years, he has served on the Board of the Georgia ASCE. He recently co-chaired the 2014 Georgia Infrastructure Report Card Committee, which evaluated various aspects of Georgia’s infrastructure from wastewater to bridges. Dan also presents at several conferences, including the Georgia Association of Water Professionals annual industrial conference and the American Society of Safety Engineers Safety 2017 conference, and has been published in The Georgia Engineer magazine.
A senior managing engineer at OBG, Dan has extensive experience in the public and private sectors, including strong team leadership; project management; environmental compliance specializing in the Clean Water Act; infrastructure assessments; building design; and environmental investigation. Dan also has construction inspection experience and has performed environmental compliance audits at multiple facilities throughout the U.S. He is a former Air Force Officer, and has been married for more than 26 years and has two children.
