Environmental Business Journal® (EBJ), a business research publication which provides high value strategic business intelligence to the environmental industry*, has honored 50 companies for revenue growth, acquisitions, innovative project designs, technology applications, new practice areas, social contributions, and industry leadership in 2014.
O’Brien & Gere is pleased to announce that it was chosen to receive a Project Merit in Remediation Award. The Company was recognized for its design of the remedial program strategy for implementing a combination of in situ remedial technologies at the largest in situ thermal remediation site in the world—the Teterboro Landing site in Teterboro, New Jersey. O’Brien & Gere successfully managed a variety of innovative investigation and remediation technologies to complete the remediation. The cleanup covered an area of 3.2 acres and depths of 40 feet and removed 35,000 pounds of volatile organic compounds.
The 2014 EBJ awards will be presented at a special ceremony at the Environmental Industry Summit XIII in San Diego, Calif. on March 11-13, 2015. The Environmental Industry Summit is an annual three-day executive retreat hosted by EBI Inc.
