Phil Saucier and Pete Komrowski appointed to NFPA Technical Committee

Phil Saucier and Pete Komrowski recognized as specialized experts in thermal process equipment and standards
OBG’s Phil Saucier and Pete Komrowski have been appointed to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Technical Committee on Ovens and Furnaces (NFPA 86). This appointment recognizes Phil and Pete as specialized experts in thermal process equipment and standards.

The NFPA 86 committee is responsible for standards on safeguarding against fire and explosion hazards of ovens and furnaces used for commercial and industrial processing of materials.

Phil and Pete will support the committee in developing and continuously improving standards and regulations, which must be followed by all thermal system manufacturers in the U.S. They will represent OBG as a full committee voting member for this code, contributing OBG’s unique perspective as an engineering design company also providing fabrication, installation, and operation services. Both will continue to lead OBG in supplying clients with safe, robust thermal process systems that meet NFPA, FM, CSA, and various state gas board requirements.
