Tim Barry appointed to ISI Envision Review Board
Selection reinforces OBG’s commitment to advancing sustainable development

SYRACUSE – OBG is pleased to announce that Timothy J. Barry has been appointed to the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) Envision Review Board to help oversee the ongoing development of ISI’s Envision sustainable infrastructure rating system. A charter member of ISI, OBG is committed to continuous innovation through the application of sustainable design and construction on critical infrastructure projects in the public and private sector.

Barry, Senior Vice President and leader of OBG’s energy brand, has more than 30 years of experience in program management, engineering, and construction over a broad range of disciplines. Along with 14 other Board Members from a broad cross-section of the industry, he will help assure the continued integrity and efficacy of ISI’s Envision sustainability rating system and its associated tools, resources, and documents and provide for consistency in interpretation and development.

“Support for ISI is a natural fit with our mission, our vision, and our core business strategy, as well as our corporate commitment to sustainability,” said James A. Fox, OBG CEO. “As a charter member of ISI with a member of our leadership on the ISI Board of Directors, we continue to confirm our commitment to the underlying principles of sustainable infrastructure, as well as to advancing the resources required to promote sustainable practices and policies, both of which are important to our Company and our clients.”

One of ISI’s primary activities is the administration of its EnvisionTM Sustainability Rating system, a training and rating program that provides a basis for evaluating all phases of infrastructure development process from a sustainability perspective. Currently, more than 1,400 Envision-Sustainability Professional (ENV-SP) credentials have been earned nationally, many with infrastructure owners at the federal, state, and local levels.
